Ann Fratturelli Obituary

Ann M. Fratturelli of Leominster, St. Anna member; 82 LEOMINSTER Ann M. (DiNardo) Fratturelli, 82, of Leominster, a devoted mother and grandmother, died Thursday, October 23, 2008, in UMass Memorial Healthcare in Worcester, surrounded by her family. She was born on April 2, 1926, in Leominster, Massachusetts was the daughter of Joseph and Italia (Schiavitti) DiNardo. Mrs. Fratturelli worked as a secretary for DeBitetto Insurance Co. for 25 years before retiring. She was a member of St. Anna Parish in Leominster, the Historical Commission, the Senior Center, a volunteer at Sholan Farms. Ann played bocci for the Leominster Bocci League on Central St, she was an avid country western line dancer, avid bowler, she loved to cook and play cards, but most of all she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family. She is survived by her two sons, Thomas Fratturelli and his wife, Deborah of Leominster, and James Fratturelli and his wife, Deborah of Salem, New Hampshire; her two daughters, Karen Tata and her husband, Kenneth of Leominster, and Carol Cantatore and her husband, John of Leominster; her sister, Gloria DiGeronimo and her husband, Arthur of Leominster; her brothers, William DiNardo of Wells, Maine, and Richard DiNardo and his wife, Joanne of Leominster; her grandchildren, Michael Fratturelli, Marissa Fratturelli, Adrianne Fratturelli, Chad Tata and his wife Sabrina, Adam Tata and his wife, Kristine, Andrew Cantatore, Alison Cantatore, Amanda Fratturelli, and Mark Fratturelli; and her great-grandson, Nickolas Tata. She was predeceased by her husband, Eustachio J. Fratturelli who died February 3, 2003, and by her brother, Lidio DiNardo. FRATTURELLI The funeral will be held from the Wright-Roy Funeral Home, 109 West St., in Leominster on Saturday, October 25, 2008 with a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anna Church, 199 Lancaster St., in Leominster. Burial will be in St. Leo's Cemetery in Leominster. Calling hours are today Friday, October 24, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
