Bertha C. Chamard

Bertha C. Chamard lifelong resident of Fitchburg; 87 FITCHBURG Bertha C. (Bernard) Chamard, 87, of Fitchburg, died Tuesday, October 28th, at the Hillcrest Nursing Home, Fitchburg. She was the wife of Sylvio J. Chamard who died in February 2007. Mrs. Chamard was born May 1, 1921, in Fitchburg, one of 10 children born to Napoleon and Matilda (Dame) Bernard, and was a lifelong resident of Fitchburg. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Fitchburg. Prior to her retirement in the early 1980's, she had worked as a machine operator at the Crocker Burbank Paper Company, Weyerhaeuser and James River Paper Companies. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. CHAMARD A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 AM, Friday, October 31st at the Immaculate Conception Church, 59 Walnut St., Fitchburg. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fitchburg. visitation period will be 8:30 9:30 Friday at the Louis M. Isabelle Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon St., Fitchburg.
