Georgianna Selinga Obituary

Georgianna Selinga of Fitchburg; 80 Fitchburg Georgianna (Trudel) Selinga, 80, of Fitchburg, died Saturday, November 1, in Nashoba Valley medical Center after an illness. She was born May 19, 1928, in Fitchburg, daughter of the late Antonio and Mary (Debuc) Trudel. Mrs. Selinga worked for Watatic Spinning Mills. She retired from the Asher Pant Company in 1993 after working there for over 25 years. She loved walking, socializing with her family and friends, and going to the YMCA. Her husband, Frank Selinga, died in 1966. She was also predeceased by two brothers, and three sisters. She leaves her son, Frank J. Selinga and his wife Mary of Fitchburg; two daughters, Judith Mahoney and her husband David of Lawrence Harbor, NJ, and Linda Lynde and her husband Jack of Pepperell; seven grandchildren, Michael Lynde and his wife Amber of Pepperell, Matthew Lynde of Ashby, Jennie Elder and her husband Robert of Lunenburg, Aaron Selinga of FL, Joanne Mehall, David Mahoney, and Carol Carl, all of NJ; six great grandchildren, Robert Mehall, USMC serving in Okinawa, Kristin, Rebecca, Tyler, Melody, and Melissa. SELINGA The funeral will be held Thursday, November 6, from Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg, with a Mass at 11:00 am at Saint Camillus de Lellis Church, 333 Mechanic St., Fitchburg. Burial will be private. Calling hours are Wednesday, November 5, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, Inc., Office of Development, 1501 NW 9th Avenue/Bob Hope Road, Bob Hope Rd, Miami, Florida 33136-1494.

Frank, Linda, and Judy:
My deepest sympathy on the loss of "Aunt Georgie". It's brings tears to my eyes remembering so many fun events as a child and young adult growing up. That generation in the family certainly knew how to have fun. My condolences to all of you.
