Yvon E. Melanson

Yvon E. Melanson formerly of Fitchburg; 57 OSHAWA, ONTARIO, Canada Yvon Edmond Melanson, 57, of Oshawa, Ont., passed away Wed., Nov. 5, 2008, at Lakeridge Health Hospital in Oshawa. Born in Memramcook, NB, on Oct. 25, 1951, son of Edmond Melanson who died April 1994 and Annie (LeBlanc) Melanson of Dieppe, NB. Yvon moved to Fitchburg in 1961 and moved back to Canada in 1973. Yvon graduated from Mass Hospital School 1973. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife of 20 yrs, Judy (Mace); 2 brothers, Armand and his wife, Theresa of Haute Aboujagane, NB, and Donald and his wife, Diane of Moncton, NB; 2 sisters, Aurora Neilson and her husband, Donald of Haute Aboujagane, NB, and Marise Avant and her friend, Gary LaFountain of Athol, MA; his brother-in-law, John Avant of Leominster.
