Eva L. Maguy

Eva L. Maguy lifelong Fitchburg resident; 86 Ashburnham Eva L. (Leclair) Maguy, 86, of Fitchburg, died Sunday, November 30, 2008 at Health Alliance- Leominster Hospital after a brief illness. She was a loving caring person who enjoyed life. Eva was a devoted housewife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who cherished good times with her family, relatives and friends. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, Fitchburg. She was the widow of Donald F. Maguy who died in October 2001. Mrs. Maguy was born in Fitchburg, January 3, 1922, a daughter of Arsene and Roseanna (Roy) Leclair and was a lifelong Fitchburg resident. She is survived by four sons and three daughters in law, Denis F. and Debbie Maguy of Dighton, Robert E. and Pati Maguy and Ernest G. Maguy both of Fitchburg, Kenneth J. and Karen Maguy of Ashburnham; five daughters and two sons in law; Annette M. and Roland Rivard of Enfield, CT, Theresa M. Maguy, Joyce M. and Peter Thibault, Diane M. Maguy, all of Ashburnham, and Bernice M. Maguy of Fitchburg. She also leaves 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son and daughter in law, Francis D. and Jeanitta Maguy of Fitchburg who died in 2002 and 2001 respectively. She was also the sister of the late Arthur Leclerc, Eugene Leclair, Irene Leclerc and Rita Chabot.
