Fay was born in Berlin, Germany, on Nov. 28, 1929, a daughter of the late Fritz and Herrn Studier. She worked for the Allergan Inc. Optical Co. as a line worker and had also been a hairdresser owning her own salon.
She leaves one son, Jay Deery of Lunenburg; one sister, Helga and her husband, Manfred Golomb, of Germany; four nephews, John Ravell, Charlie Ravell, Robert Ravell and Charlie Blanchette.
DEERY -- There are no calling hours. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress St., 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02210. The Lunenburg Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Homes (www.masciarellifuneralhomes.net), 763 Mass Ave., Lunenburg, is assisting the family with arrangements.
