Frank was born in Fitchburg on Nov. 2, 1917, a son of the late Frederick and Pierina (Allessandrini) Ferrazza.
He was a 1937 graduate of Fitchburg High School. He worked for Simplex as an Engineer for 17 years retiring when he was 65. He also worked for Jenison Engineering. He was a member of St. Camillus Church and a member of the Men’s Recreational Chorus.
He leaves his wife of 59 years, Janet C. (Perkins) Ferrazza; two sons and daughters-in-law, David Ferrazza and Jane of Westminster, and Michael Ferrazza and Tracy of Templeton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol A. Leger and Richard of West Swanzey, N.H., and Barbara E. Joyce and Paul of Fitchburg; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by a brother, Alexander Ferrazza; and three sisters, Yolanda Welin, Emma E. Ferrazza and Anna Buono.
FERRAZZA -- The funeral will be held from the Smith-Mallahy-Masciarelli Funeral Home (www.masciarellifamilyfuneralhome.net), 243 Water St., Fitchburg, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Camillus Church, 333 Mechanic St., Fitchburg. Burial will follow in the St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Fitchburg. Calling hours will be on Monday, Oct. 22, from 4-7 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the St. Camillus Church Building Fund, 333 Mechanic St., Fitchburg, MA 01420.
