I remember fondly growing up and visiting my grandfather in Arlington and having him make pancakes in the morning, having him take us in the metro and visit the sites around DC, and also the drives through downtown Washington at nights in a car full of grandkids. But what will always stand out the most for me are the memories of him playing his guitar and singing. I can still see him sitting on his couch with his acoustic guitar singing some folksy song with a big smile on his face while us grandkids gathered around to listen.
