Hello,
We realize that we are very late to express our deepest condolences, but we wanted to let your family and friends know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this month and several of these will be dedicated to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo and hometown of Brandon J. Garabrant US Marine Lance Corporal. We are also sending our campaign patches to the Conval High School Ice Hockey Team in Brandon´s name.
We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals from across the American youth hockey community, their families and friends and others who support our mission.
We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you safe and strong.
Sincerely,
Charlie Gili & Family

Dear friends and family of Brandon John Garabrant, I'm EXTREMELY sorry for your loss. What a brave, strong man he was to fight for our country! I'm so thankful for your son fighting in the U.S. Marine Corp.! I learned that freedom isn't free and he gave up his life to give us the freedom that he fought for. We also learned that even when he was living he was hardly ever home. I hope that more people honor our soldiers as time passes!

My fiance is a Marine stationed in 29 Palms, CA.
During training one day, he found a metal wrist cuff. He tried to find the owner of it, but the OOD said that they could do nothing about it. He has since held on to it, hoping to find the owner of the wrist cuff.
The inscription on the cuff is of "CPL Brandon J. Garabrant. Kia Afghanistan 6-20-2014"
I was hoping that by posting this here, we could hopefully return this cuff to its rightful owner.

Jessie, John, Mykala and Jake,
We are praying for you. Brandon was an incredible young man and I am glad that I had the opportunity to watch him grow up at Jaffrey Bible Church. He was polite and respectful...What a blessing it was to get to know him in the youth group and to have him help with Vacation Bible School years back. He is with the LORD and waiting for us...we will see him again! Love you guys!!

I know there are no words to say at this time, except how sorry that I am. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. Brandon will never be forgotten.
For you every single soldier
Those who served so honorable
Your life was forever altered
While I'm home safe and free
I stand with grateful admiration
I stand respectful and so proud
I know I'm only a civilian
And I don't even know if it's allowed.
But I salute you; allow me the honor to salute you with permission let me say. Even though I hold no rank know that from my heart my humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.
I salute you.
For those missing in action;for those who didn't make it home.I know you're in God's presence you are not alone. For every neatly folded flag;for every shattered family I will do the only thing I know to dignify your memory.
I salute you, allow me the honor to salute you with permission let me say even though I hold no rank know that from my heart my humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.
I salute you.
I Salute You.

We offer our heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of and we honor his distinguished service to the cause of freedom and liberty. Sadly, America has lost one of its finest heroes, the U.S. has lost a friend and protector, and a family has lost an example of character and courage, which they will love, respect and cherish forever. Today, because of the sacrifice Lplc. Garabrant has made, the house of freedom is stronger, sturdier, and more secure.
To the family and friends, of Lcpc.Garabrant, I would like you to know that a lot of people pray for you, and my hope is that their prayers will give you the strength necessary to carry on. Just as you were always with him when he was deployed overseas, know that he will always be with you wherever you may be. In the days to follow, may you be strengthened by the fact that Lcpl. Garabrant was a man distinguished by exceptional courage and will always be admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. You, your family and your sacrifice will never be forgotten.
"Our debt to the heroic men and valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid, they have earned our undying gratitude. America will never, ever forget their sacrifices."
Lcpl.Garabrant the flag of the United States of America has your blood sewn into the fabric; it shall forever wave in your honor.
Freedom requires sacrifice the protected will never know.

Brandon was a fine young man and a credit to the uniform he wore. He is a true hero and his country will long remember. He was a very caring and compassionate person, always doing something for someone else and never taking credit for it. I am proud to have known Brandon and have served beside him as a firefighter. To all of the family of Cpl. Brandon Garabrant:
It is with much sadness that I send my prayers to you. I do not know what it is like to lose my son in the military but I do know what it is like having lost my nephew in Afghanistan. They are among our youngest family members that felt the need to serve and protect their country, their brethren servicemen, and their families. They are the ones who gave their all to ensure our freedom. They are among the chosen few who risked their lives in the name of freedom.
We honor and pray for your family, that you may find solace in knowing that your soldier is now among his fellow soldiers who return home, after having given their all. Know that there are countless Americans who share your grief and pray for your solace.
I hope that there are many who spend at least a moment to leave their prayers and thoughts here. I pray that those who knew and worked with Brandon leave a memory or more here for the family to read as the moments he spent with you were moments the family missed out on, such as jokes he may have told you, funny things he did or said, or memories of times at school that you experienced with him. All of these items will help the family as they move ahead.
May God bless all of us as we share in the life of Brandon.
