Beth was a dear friend with a heart of gold--always upbeat in her perspectives, ever generous and helpful, a lover of life, and a lover of all things living. It is with great sadness that I learned of her passing. I offer my deepest condolences to the Carothers family and to Steve.

I am so sorry to hear of Beth's untimely death. A close friend of mine from Lake Wylie told me of her passing yesterday. It's been a long time since I had seen Beth. But, I always remember from our early years growing up in Gardner Park on Rosemary Lane, what a sweet and caring person she was. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time. Take care.

Phyllis & Buddy, our hearts ache for you at the loss of your darling daughter. She was such an attractive young lady and full of life and giving her all to her horses, friends, and everyone that she came in contact with. She is truly one of the shining stars in this world. Mr. and Mrs. Carothers and family,
I would like to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. Even though Beth and I had lost touch over the years, I always thought about her. She and I were like glue in our teen years and I could never have asked for a better friend and little sister in Beth. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten in our hearts.
