There is not one person in the Hall family that you don't meet and walk away from smiling and feeling like you just met "family". Wanda, you may not even remember me, but I will never forget meeting you, JR and your family. I will always remember your smile and the feeling that your family simply "loves life". God has embraced the Halls and chose this family to reflect his love. It has been a gift meeting you. I am so sorry for your loss and my heart goes out to your family. Sincerely, Pam (Doug & Devon Beyer's mom)

Jr really enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, telling jokes to make people laugh, he always had a smile on his face. He Loved his Wife and Children and work hard to provide for his family. I met my Best Friend Lisa Brown Hall, Jr's Daughter around 8 years old, at a very young age, we respected our parents. Jr he made sure his kids knew that he Loved them first and for most, he made sure they had what they needed and he always made us laugh. He was just like another Daddy to Me. His words was the law in his house, he was teaching us kids one of the most valuable lessons in life, work, respect and to stand up for what you believe in, don't let anybody tell you otherwise. As I grew older, I slowly understood why Lisa cherished that car her Daddy bought her to get her on her feet, she always took care of it, washed it and treated it like solid gold.
He was a very compassionate and kind person. I learned that the most important thing that he had was us, his family. He was proud of his family. We are who we are now because we had a father like him. You was the best Daddy we could ever ask for generous and kind. His life tells a story, he had a wonderful life, beautiful wife whom loved and cared for him. Children who respected and loved him so much. We all will miss him, never forget what he has taught us in his life, cherish our memories that we was so blessed to have.

It was hard watching JR take his last breath, to tell him goodbye, it was sad and it made us all cry. We all witnessed a miracle, for he showed us all that he went to heaven. No doubt in my mind that JR Hall went to be with God. No more pain, no sickness, his body is whole again with God in heaven. We all found comfort knowing he was no longer sick, he did not suffer, he left earth very peacefully and comfortable.

We read the Lord's Prayer to get our strength, we all just could picture him in heaven fishing with Buck, telling jokes to all of his loved ones who had passed away before him, embracing there reunion back together, we could only imagine how beautiful it was for him and his Grand Daughter Amanda to meet again in heaven. We are so blessed to have had such a wonderful Father figure in our lives. I am so glad I met the Hall family, they are all wonderful people and I feel honored that I was fortunate enough to meet them and know them most of my life.

We all will miss Jr, until we meet again in Heaven. The memories will always be in our hearts, we will remember the jokes he told and they will make us laugh, when we are fishing on a sunny day we will remember him enjoying himself fishing that day. We will Celebrate his life on earth as a Loving, caring and generous man.
R.I.P. “JR” until we meet again....

Wanda, I am so very sorry to hear about JR. I worked with him in Hamilton for many years. JR taught me to play poker. He was my driver on the rail dock. I will always remember JR as the only person I have ever known that could tell jokes all day and never repeat the same one. He was a great friend. My prayers are with you and your family.

Words cannot express the pain that we all feel for the entire Hall family right now, including myself, in this time of mourning. He is with dad, Buck, Loyd, and all of the other loved ones we have lost, and now has everlasting life with the father. We can find peace and comfort in that, and know that we will see him again. Sending our love, thoughts and prayers from Indiana, Jeff, Dolly, Ronda, Karissa, Kara, and Stellen.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
