PLease accept my condolences. I am very saddened to hear of Hal's passing. I had the priviledge to room with Hal as a Frog and visiting your home was one of the highlights of my time at West Point. I will continue to think of him everytime I hear "Born in the USA" or any John Lenon song.

My deepest condolances to Hal's family. I share your loss. I was a classmate of Hal's and got to know him well some 26 years ago during our second summer there. His offbeat sense of humor kept us all laughing and I am honored to have served with him.

Hal became a very good friend to all of us at Camp Buckner for our Cadet Summer Field Training. He was always a glimmer of inspiration and a friendly voice, even during the toughest of times. I lost track of Hal after graduation, that is a sincere regret. Please accept my condolences, and know that Hal and all of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Hal was a man who loved his God, his family and his country. Like what has been mentioned before me, he was the one everyone truly enjoyed being around and listening to. Some of the best times I ever had in my professional career were with Hal.

As his wife and children you should know that he deeply loved you and constantly spoke of you.

Yesterday was a truly sad day for those who knew him and loved him. Through our sadness we had joy knowing of his eternal destination and the many times of laughter he brought us all.

Christopher and Jennifer, I was so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. We last spoke in early September and reminissed about his Army life, both of you who he was so proud of, his career with J&J and his Catholic faith. Just like several of my J&J peers have mentioned, Hal was the consummate professional and had a tremendous sense of humor that was appreciated by all.

I was so sorry to hear that Hal passed away. I served with him as one of three Hospital Representatives in TN thoughout 1998. Hal was a consummate professional at all times, but nonetheless kept us laughing frequently with his unique sense of humor! As a fellow veteran of military service and veteran of more than a decade with Johnson & Johnson, Hal will be sincerely missed.
