Jamie Bullis Obituary

Jamie Everard Bullis Jamie Everard Bullis, 28, died unexpectedly on December 22 in San Francisco. Jamie was born April 1, 1980 in Wenatchee, Wash. to David John Bullis and Barbara Lyn Bullis. Jamie attended Lake Hazel Middle and Meridian High. Jamie began traveling at an early age by hopping freight trains which took him to almost every state where he made numerous friends during these adventures. Jamie's 6' 5" frame stood out wherever he went. Jamie looked out for his friends and they felt protected by him. He spent a lot of time in Portland and San Francisco; both cities will be holding memorial services for him. It is only because of our prayers that surrounded him each day along with the watchful eye of the God who 'never lets go,' that we believe Jamie is in heaven with his Grandpa Boling. Jamie is survived by his father David -Longview, Wash.; mother, Barbara -Meridian, Idaho; brothers Jonathan Bullis (Leeny Bullis) and Ryan Bullis (LaDonna Bullis); sister Nadra White -Meridian, Idaho; nieces and nephews Makayla, Bryonna, Matthew and Emma. Also close friends Kolby Claycomb and TJ Amyx. He is preceded in death by his grandpa, Charles Boling. Jamie will long be remembered for the way he loved his friends and family, He had integrity and was brave, always standing up for anyone he loved and would even die for them if necessary - He will be in our hearts forever. Memorial services will be held at Capital Christian Center, Friday, January 2nd at 11 a.m.

Words, I feel, fall short here. I am sorry for the agony you must be feeling, as I feel now. Jamie was a large part of my life for a short period of time, but he impacted me, made me smile, he was my friend, in a world where friends are too hard to come by. He was my best friend in Portland, and while we lost touch, he never left my thoughts or my heart. I am sorry for the selfishness of this message, talking about myself when you have lost family. I grieve with you. Thank you for your time.

Jamie was the first boy I ever loved and I will always remember the special way he made me feel. He was definitely taken from us at too young an age and will forever remain in our hearts.
