Etta Cockerham Obituary

Etta Lee Cockerham Etta L. Cockerham passed away at her home in Berkeley on September 13, 2010, surrounded by her family, at the age of 88. A native of Louisiana, Etta was a long-time resident of Berkeley. She was preceded in death by her son Willie H. Cockerham and her sister Marie Thomas. She is survived by: her son Donald ( wife Yvonne) of Oakland; daughter Dorothy of Berkeley; 7 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren, all of whom will miss her dearly. A service will be held for Mrs. Cockerham Saturday, Sept. 18, 11am at her church, Humanity Baptist, 1051 54th St., Oakland CA 94608. Viewing will be held the night prior from 4-8pm at Sunset View Mortuary, Top of Fairmount Ave, El Cerrito. Sunset View Mortuary (510) 525-5111
