Wilda Genschmer Obituary

Wilda Jane Genschmer Resident of Sacramento Wilda entered peacefully into rest at her Sacramento home on October 5, 2010. She was 84 years of age. Born in Hastings, Nebraska, Wilda moved to California over 50 years ago. She worked on the assembly line at Nabisco Foods, retiring after 25 years of service. Devoted to her family, Wilda took great pride in all their accomplishments. She loved to sing, shop, cook, and go out to dinner. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. Wilda is survived by four daughters, one son, and one stepson, ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many loving extended family and cherished friends. She was preceded in death by her husband and son. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo. Funeral services will begin at 11am on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the mortuary. Wilda will be laid to rest following the service at Chapel of the Chimes Cemetery in Hayward.
