I have enjoyed British television courtesy of PBS in the USA. "Keeping Up Appearances" is still my favorite. What an honor it's been to have shared February 17th birthdays with Dame Patricia Routledge. When I was pursuing my undergraduate degree, I have Hyacinth to thank for being excused from sitting my final exam in journalism. Her many phone conversations with never seen son Sheridan plus knowing his friend's name were the answers that ended class. I hope this gives Patricia and Hyacinth a little smile in Heaven.
P.S. The friend's name was Tarquin.

Oh So sorry to hear of Ms Patricia´s passing. She´s was the same age as my mom. What a wonderful talented actress she was! My mom got me to start watching "Keeping Up Appearances"many years ago, and I fell in love with it. That program still makes me laugh so much. Lovely, talented and wonderful lady! May she rest in peace.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching you on Keeping Up Appearances and Hetty Wainthropp Investigates. I think a truly great actress and comedienne such as yourself would appreciate hearing that Hyacinth didn't kick the bucket, she kicked the "boo-kay"! Thank you for all the years of great entertainment you provided to audiences on both sides of the pond.
