Clara Pierson

Clara Monta¤o Pierson Passed away peacefully on September 27, 2010. Born October 13, 1913, to Salvador Monta¤o and his wife Rayo de Luz Arellanes in the mining town of Morenci, Arizona. Resident of Oakland for most of her 96 years in her beloved hilltop home on Hillmont Drive. Reunited with her parents, her sisters Juliana Stiess, Elfida Hill, Zenida "Bobbie" Likos and so many other beloved friends and relatives of her generation. Beloved wife of Gilford Pierson, who passed away 2005. After fifty-nine years of marriage, her heart broke and dreams faded that day in March, never to recover. She was so proud of and dearly loved her 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grand-children, and 8 great great-grandchildren. At Mrs. Pierson's request, interment shall be at the Chapel of the Chimes, Oakland, and no services will be held. Donations in her memory may be made to Hope Hospice of Dublin, California (www.HopeHospice.com). Dear mother, we will always remember your joy in having your family gathered around for holidays, the smiles that were especially bright when children or animals were near, and the swing in your step when music was heard. We wish you everlasting peace as you reunite with your loved ones.
