James Lemon

James Lemon A resident of San Lorenzo James Lemon entered peacefully into rest in Hayward on October 11, 2010. He was 81 years old. Born in Ohio on May 4, 1929, James had been a construction worker most of his life. Always willing to help others, James took great pride in his children and all of their accomplishments in life. He loved to play cards, enjoyed working on cars, taking trips to Reno and loved joking around with others. He will truly be missed. James is survived by his loving children and spouses, Glenda K. and Dale Griffith of Oroville, Diane L. and Roger Getts of Weed, CA, James Matson of Livermore, James and Noreen Lemon, Jr. of Ohio, David R. Lemon of Ohio and Dennis P. Lemon of Ohio. He also leaves behind his beloved 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Mary Lemon in 2002. Visitation for James will be on Thursday, October 14th from 4 to 8 pm at Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 9:30 am at the chapel. He will be laid to rest at Oakmont Memorial Park in Lafayette, CA.
