Dorothy Ann Santos A resident of San Leandro Dorothy Ann Santos entered peacefully into rest in Castro Valley on October 9, 2010. She was 90 years old. Born in Vallejo, CA on March 18, 1920, Dorothy, a devout Catholic had worked as an invoice clerk for Woolworth's in her younger years. She loved gardening, taking trips to Reno and associating with friends. Dorothy will truly be missed by many. Dorothy is survived by her loving children, Geraldine Santos of San Leandro, Harvey J. Santos of Paradise, and Steven P. Santos of San Leandro. She will truly be missed by her grand-daughter, Lisa Marie Vigil and great grand-daughters, Elizabeth and Natalie. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Norman Santos in 1989, and her granddaughter, Julie Ann Kiely in 1986. Visitation for Dorothy will be on Wednesday, October 13th from 4 to 8 pm at Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo. A vigil service will be held on Wednesday at 7 pm at the chapel. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10 am at St. John's Catholic Church, 264 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo.
