David Webb Obituary

David R. Webb Jr. Nov 28, 1945 ~ Oct 19, 2010 Resident of Livermore David R. Webb Jr. died suddenly Tuesday after a heart attack at home. He had a passion for golf and a great sense of humor. David was born in Lynchburg, VA and relocated to CA in 1965. He worked at Safeway until he retired in 2005. David is preceded in death by his only son David R.Webb III and is survived by his loving Wife; Joan, Daughter; Diane (Bob) Hicks, Daughter in-law Michelle Webb Morioka and Granddaughter; Amanda Horne. Friends and Family are invited to a visitation on Wednesday Oct.27 from 9-11am followed by a memorial service at Callaghan Mortuary, 3833 East Ave. in Livermore. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Callaghan Mortuary (925) 447-2942

Dear Joan, Diane, and Amanda,

I am deeply sorry for your loss. David was such a nice and fun loving man. As a kid growing up on Humboldt Way, David played basketball in the driveway with us and he always seemed to have something funny to say. He also had that infectious laugh that so often filled the neighborhood. Whenever I think of David, I smile. He will be missed.
