Delia Alvarado

Delia Alvarado Resident of Union City passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 79 years of age. Delia was born to Jesus and Natividad Garcia on March 30, 1931 in Stanton, California. After her retirement from electronics, she enjoyed her years as a housewife, mother, grand-mother, and great-grand-mother. She always loved going on trips with her husband, shopping, and cooking for her family. Delia is survived by her children, Efrand of Pine Grove, Theresa of Union City, and Jesus of San Leandro; her grandchildren, Robert, Ryan, Christopher, Gabriel, Nathan, and Samantha; and her great-grandchildren, Angelo, Robert, Reuben, Christopher, Xavier, Andruw, Alex, and Aubrianna. She is also survived by her brothers, Alfonso and Raymond, and her sisters, Margaret Apodaca and Gloria Holt. Delia is preceded in death by her loving husband, Efrand, her parents, her brothers, Lupe, Sal and Cipriano, and her sister, Angie Villegas. For those wanting to remember Delia, please join her family on Wednesday, November 3 in the Mission Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Viewing will begin at 5:00pm with services to follow.
