DiAnn Anderson Obituary

DiAnn Anderson Resident of Fremont Nov. 16, 1931 - Nov. 4, 2010 DiAnn Anderson, 78, passed away with her husband by her side on their 60th wedding anniversary. Although, being a charter member of Second Chance Inc., she was more broadly interested in the human potential. It was often said of her "she believed in me when I could not believe in myself." That was her magic. She led a very full life. From Hong Kong to Prairie Creek. Ohlone College to the peace marches of San Francisco. Building houses to baking cookies, she lived large. If you ever wanted to have a heated discussion about politics, she could tell you how it really was. She was survived by her loving husband of sixty years, Carl Anderson. Daughter, Tracie Hunter and two granddaughters, Sarah and Jenna Butler. Preceded in death by her two sons, Charles and Cory Anderson. Also survived by brother, Mikal Lofgren, of Salt Lake City, Utah. Sister Marilu Walc of Blackfoot Idaho and sister, Shannon Sackman, of Gooding Idaho. The memorial will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, 10am, Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Boulevard Fremont, CA 94538

My best goes to Tracy, Jenna, Sarah and Karl. I thank Dianne for founding the agency that saved mine and my childrens lives. You are a strong family with a lot of class. I am blessed to have had one of those political converstions with Dianne about the Death Penalty. I realized that day that Dianne was a very passionate woman with a lot of fire. Thanks Dainne!
Respectfully,
