Rosemarie Chivello Obituary

Rosemarie Estelle Chivello, Age 96 Aug. 10, 1914 - Nov. 12, 2010 Resident of San Leandro Rosemarie was born in Oakland to Daniel & Anne Pauline. She was raised in Alameda and graduated from Alameda High School in 1933. Over the years, Rosemarie was active in the San Leandro Garden Club, San Leandro Hospital Friendly Connections, Montgomery Ward Retire-ment Club, Friends of San Leandro Library and Friends of the Assumption Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Anthony "Tony" Chivello. They were married for 63 years. Also brother Daniel Pauline and sister Annette "Babe" Engberson. Rosemarie, aka Mom, Grammie, Auntie RoRo and Rose, is survived by son Paul D. Chivello, daughter Diane Conrad and her husband Jerry, six grandchildren, Beverly Ekaitis, Paul A. Chivello, Daniel Chivello, Julie Chivello, Renae Barrett, Anthony Conrad and six great-grandchildren, Breanne Chivello, Nicholas Chivello, Tyler Ekaitis, Nathan Chivello, Haley Ekaitis and Shelby Barrett, and many nieces and nephews. A chapel service celebrating her life will be Thursday November 18, 2010 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Santos-Robinson Mortuary 160 Estudillo Ave. San Leandro, CA.
