Beatriz Gonzalez Oct. 22, 1928 - Nov. 16, 2010 Resident of Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grand-mother, sister, aunt and friend. Born October 22, 1928 in Buttonwillow, CA. She quietly passed away on November 16, 2010 with her family by her side, 82 years young. Beatriz was preceded in death by her husband, Rigoberto Gonzalez, parents Felipe Medina and Atanacia Silva, brothers Vidal, Salvador, Manuel and Juan and sister Dionisa Viramontes. A loving and devoted mother to her sons Bill (Yoli) Gonzalez and Joe (Yvonne) Gonzales. A doting grandmother to Corey (Letty) Gonzalez, Sergio (Maria) Gonzalez, Michael Gonzales and Justin Gonzalez. A cherished great-grandmother to Isabel and Miranda Gonzalez. She is also survived by sisters Josefina Medina and Refugio Godinez, many nieces and nephews and her former daughter-in-law Mercy Gonzales. Beatriz was active in her church and loved to volunteer her time and assistance to others. She greatly enjoyed her little patio garden and spent many a happy afternoon there tending her rose and orchid bushes. When afforded the opportunity to travel she wenther trips included stops in Greece, Spain, Italy, the Holy Land, Ecuador and Mexico. She was an avid player of the family card game "karaoke", loved crocheting, cooked many delicious meals in her tiny kitchen, and just being in the company of her family and friends. She was an inspiration to many and a champion of those in need of support. Her beautiful smile and loving nature will be greatly missed but we are thankful her pain has ended and her reward of everlasting life, peace and happiness has been achieved.
