Gigl C. Macalino

Gigil C. Macalino A resident of San Lorenzo Gigil C. Macalino entered peacefully into rest, surrounded by his family, on November 17, 2010 in Hayward, Ca. He was 43 years old. Born in the Philippines, on April 6, 1967, Gigil owned a business buying and selling electronics. He was devoted to his family and loved spending time with them at all sorts of gatherings. He really loved camping and taking trips to Lake Tahoe. Gigil was a lovable person and had a happy-go-lucky personality that drew people to him. He will be deeply missed. Gigil is survived by his beloved wife of 16 years, Candelaria Macalino; his beautiful daughter, Katherine Macalino; his loving parents, Loretto and Nunelon Macalino; his brothers, Erwin, Glenn, and Lonell Macalino; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and cherished friends. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday at Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo. A service will be held at 6 pm on Wednesday at the mortuary.
