The First Christmas Without You
The holiday comes and the holiday goes but

One thing is that doesn't is your memory

The first Christmas without you

Is like a Christmas without Santa

The one all of us believe in is gone

The one that shows the love and meaning

The meaning of Christmas was lost

When you said Hi to our lord above

As you walked through the gate

The Love you put in our hearts walk with you

From now on our Christmas will never be the same

We will never forget the Christmases we had together

And no matter what you will live on in our hearts

No matter if we see you on the warm Christmas morn

All we will remember is the one who changed our lives

And showed so much love that we will remember you by
On the first Christmas with out you.

Distance and time are often our enemies. Mom (Henrietta Zierenberg Salopek) remembers his nickname was 'Snooky', but can't remember why (one member of the family had the nickname of 'stickyfeet', so may be not remembering is a good thing).

Too much time and too many miles wash over my Moms memories like a layer of black paint. But her love of the Fenk family is still very much alive and Norm's passing hurts.

Our prayers are with everyone. Family is special and any loss -- hurts.

To the Fenk family,
I am sorry to hear about Norm. I worked with him at Kaiser for 19 years and we share many memories. Not only at work but at all of the functions outside of the plant. He was a great guy.
My sympathy goes out to the family.
