Lawrence Smith Obituary

Lawrence Donald Smith Feb 5, 1930 - Nov 27, 2010 of Fremont, CA Passed away Nov 27, 2010 at Stanford Medical Center. Larry is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie Smith of 59 years; his sister, Vivian Page; his brother, Eugene Smith; his daughters Jan Cedeno, Melanie Smith, and Cheryl Smith; two grandchildren, Ryan and Amanda Cedeno, nieces; nephews; and many friends. He served in the army and worked at Borden Chemical and Diablo Systems for several years. Larry was an avid fisherman, enjoyed sports, and loved his family. He will be sadly missed. A memorial service has been scheduled for December 4th at 2 P.M. at Bridges Community Church in Fremont, CA.

I only have great memories of him and I remember several uplifting and spiritual conversations I had with him. I enjoyed talking to him about his family, experiences and life in general. He will live on in all people he has touched and we will definitely see him again!! I will miss him!

I will miss Larry he was a big part of our extended Family, since i was in my teens he was always a wonder Man to be around his bible passages he closed with in our many e-mail i will never forget so the next time you cast out a line from your Fishing pole make sure you have a song in your Heart & a smile on your Face for Larry Smith.
