My thoughts and prayers are with the Maguire family during this difficult time.

Mike's mother, Bonnie Maguire, was my first cousin, the daughter of Aunt Thelma. Our families were very close, spending many holidays and vacations together. Mike and I were both born in 1948, so we literally grew up together. My father (Lestle Warren Ivy) was also very mechanically inclined: he spent a lot of time with Mike working on cars, building things, and just hanging out. When my father died, I gave Mike all his tools, which was the greatest compliment I could pay to anyone. I profoundly hope that whoever gets those tools will use them as my father and Mike did: to help others whenever possible. I know that Mike and Dad are sitting together now, or better yet, fixing the gates to Heaven. Mike will be sorely missed on this earth.
