Andrew Uranga Obituary

Andrew J. Uranga Mar. 28, 1965 - Nov. 29, 2010 Entered into rest on November 29, 2010 at the age of 45 after a long illness. Beloved son of Prudencio Uranga, and beloved brother of Eloise, Cynthia, Sally, Eric, Janet, Joyce and Christina. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by his mother, Elizabeth Uranga. Born on March 28, 1965 in Fremont, Andrew grew up in a large family and excelled at sports. He had many hobbies, including darts, gardening, woodworking, cooking, comedy and cars. He loved Halloween, his PT cruiser, and especially his cocker spaniels, Ebony & Oreo. A memorial service will be held for Andrew on Sunday, December 5, 5pm at Mission Springs Community Church, 48989 Milmont Drive, Fremont, 94538. Fremont Chapel of the Roses (510) 797-1900

I'm not sure how many will seek this out, but I did! Andrew was one of my oldest friends...and those are hard to say goodbye too, they know your life and you know theirs. Andy, Andrew, Droid, Drew.... we teased each other a lot as kids (and adults too I guess!) but it's because he was like a brother to me. When you start to think of memories, you realize, after knowing someone for 35 years, there are SO many! Andrew will be missed, but NEVER forgotten. XOXO Lisa Stout
