Deon S. Bringhurst DDS

Deon S. Bringhurst, DDS, Resident of Fremont Passed peacefully on December 29, 2010 of renal failure, surrounded by his loving family who had gathered for his 82nd birthday. Dr. Bringhurst was born in Utah, near Zion National Park, to Samuel and Erma Stout Bringhurst. After graduating from Brigham Young University, he attended Washington University School of Dentistry in St. Louis, Missouri. He served a stint as a dentist in the United States Air Force and then had a dental practice in the Mission San Jose District of Fremont for 45 years. He is survived by his wife, Lila, and his children, Eric Bringhurst, M.D., Eron Bringhurst (Joyce), Margo Layton (Dean), Amy Crane (Steven), Glinel Fauchier (Dennis), Alaina Stewart (Bradley) and his sisters, Lorna Cox, Sandra Boyce and Karen Stratton of Utah, 19 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. His memorial service is Saturday, January 15 at 11 a.m., followed by a reception, in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel at 810 Walnut Avenue, Fremont.
