Patricia Brooks Obituary
December 20, 1932 - June 11, 2011
Resident of Livermore
Patricia was born in San Francisco on 12/20/32 and died in her home in Livermore on 6/11/11. She was preceded in dead by her husband, John and beloved son, Robert. She is survived by her daughter, Susan, son, Michael and his wife Corrine and three grandsons, Steven, Kyle and Eric Brooks of whom she was very proud. Patricia taught elementary school for over 30 years, provided a home to foster children in need of love and care and was a friend to many. Pat had many lifelong friendships and family she cherished, as well as new friends who made each day a bit brighter.
Patricia worked hard all her life to provide a home and security for herself and her children, she was courageous, artistic, friendly and kind of heart and spirit.

Services will be held:
Rosary: Graham-Hitch Mortuary, Wednesday June 15, 2011 at 7:00 pm
Funeral Services will be held at: Church of St. Raymonds, June 16, 2011 at 10:00 am at 11555 Shannon Ave, Dublin. Reception to follow service.

I was truly saddened to read of Mrs. Brooks' passing.
She was my Kindergarten teacher in 1975-76. I remember she would tell us kids to sit "Indian-style" on our "po-pos" on the rug at the start of class. I have always used "po-po" to refer to derriere ever since! And, when asked where I had heard such a word, I would credit Mrs. Brooks.
I have both very fond memories of her and of our classroom.

Mrs.Brooks.....she was my Kindergarten Teacher at Pedro Valley School Pacifica Ca. back in 1972.I think of her for being quite kind to everyone.I'll Always remember my Kindergarten class as being a special time due to Mrs.Brooks
