I loved my nana very much. I am going to miss going to her house and playing poker and uno with her. She meant a lot to my family and i, and will be missed very much. But i am glad to know that she is in a better place now. She deserves it. I love her very much and hope to be reunited with her someday.

Condolences to all, but I envision Julie has graduated to the status of guardian angel - now free of pain and in some ways now closer than ever to her loved ones...radiating through them, and proud of Julia in particular - a shining star.

Life is a mystery and we all will leave our legacies by how we've touched others. A life well lived.

Julz, my condolences to you and your family for the loss of your grandmother. Although I did not have the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Johnson, I know grandparents are so special, they always seem to know the correct answers and have such big hearts. I am sure she was of that nature. May she rest in peace.

I didn't know Julie, but I do know her granddaughter Julia Parra, and I have to assume Julie was a wonderful influence on Julia, by the way Julia turned out. Grandmothers can be such a warm and accepting source of love, they can heal a lot of the hurt grandkids have. And they are often remembered with great fondness, and never forgotten, because of the love they freely gave.

My Beautiful Grandma, I love you so much. Thank you for always being there for me. Thank you for passing on your love of books. Thank you for bubble baths, apple and cinnamon cream of wheat, huge slices of watermelon, and Saturday morning cartoons in front of the fireplace. Thank you for paying my cell phone bill that time I got so behind. Thank you for making Christmas so special and making sure everyone had lots of presents. Thank you for always taking care of my son when I needed someone, we will play Uno and poker in your honor. Thank you for everything. God bless you little grandma and rest in peace now.
