Gloria B. Laroe

Mrs. Gloria B. Laroe, age 66, died Wednesday morning, April 16, 2003 at her home. She was born April 24, 1936, daughter of the late Arthur and Lillian ( Toni ) Robillard, in Niagra Falls, N.Y. Gloria married Carlton Z. Laroe, Septembar 8, 1951, and he pre-deceased her June 4, 1994. She will be remembered as a longtime member of the waitstaff of the former Cornerstone Restaurant.

She is survived by four daughters and their husbands Gail and Charles Stypick of Colchester, Carla and Robert Blystone of Washington, Cathy and Richard Stypick of N.Y., Vicky and Dennis Delong of N.Y., her four sons Carl and Patti Laroe of Georgia, Jeff and Dawn Laroe of St. Albans, Paul and Lisa Laroe of St. Albans, and Chad Laroe of Swanton, three sisters Shirley and Don Searle of Florida, June and Stanley Laroe of N.Y. and Carol and Al McDonald of N.Y. 19 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was pre-deceased by two brothers, Eddy Robillard and Arthur Robillard, Jr., and two sisters Grace Gratto-Taccamine and Delores Figler.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 22, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. in Holy Angels Church. Interment will follow in the Laroe family lot in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home, 86 S. Main St., from 7 to 9 P.M. Monday. Arrangements are entrusted to the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home.
