I worked for Ron when he was a car wholesaler. Not once did he ever mention he had been a man of the cloth. He liked to engage in conversations about politics, and talked a lot about his wife and daughter Amy. He gave me a part time job driving cars when I was unemployed for which I was truly grateful. We had quite a few funny experiences transporting cars. I drove a car home from Tampa in the pouring rain without windshield wipers! I also drove a car with a hole in the floorboard and it was burning black oil all the way down Hwy 98. He thought it was hilarious when the PCSO pulled me over. He let me drive a Dodge Stelth around for about week, and I drove my first Jaguar. Ron was a good guy. Last time I saw him was at Mary Holland Park driving golf balls. That's how I will remember him. RIP Ron.
