My condolences to Sandy, Denny and their families.
Having Jean as an aunt was like having a second mother. Being so close to Sandy when we were children meant that I spent almost as much time at Jean and Art’s house as I did my own. Aunt Jean played an important role in my childhood and I am grateful she was always there for me. Likewise, she was a wonderful sister to my mother. Only in the most recent years did I learn how kindhearted Jean was to Mom when she was an adolescent and young adult. I thank Aunt Jean for that. I wish everyone could have the privilege of living such a long and fruitful life, always surrounded by family, as my Aunt Jean did.
