I loved his smile and chuckle when he laughed. He was such a distinguished and intelligent man. As a child, because of his height, he seemed like a giant to me. He was a big man with an even bigger heart. So grateful that I got a chance to speak to him when he called my mother (his sister) and I happened to be there recently. He was one of the families anchors and he will be missed.

I was the Senior Technical Writer/Editor in Paul’s division at UDRI for several years. He was one of the kindest, most patient, and truly intelligent scientists I have known. It was both a pleasure and honor to work with him. My sincere condolences to the family.
