Tillie McCURDY Obituary
Tillie J. McCurdy was called home to be with the Lord on December 4, 2020. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother who will truly be missed but never forgotten. Preceded in death by her
husband, Thigpen McCurdy; daughter, Lorine Rayford; son-in-law, Richard E. Rayford; her father, Henry Metcalf and her mother, Elizabeth Metcalf; brothers: Charles, James, and Willie; and sisters: Eula Henry, Clara Oglesby, and Bernice Hall. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Florine Ladipo of Dayton, OH and Corine (Kevin) Cockrell of Hughesville, MD; sister, Lillie Ellison of Chicago, IL; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Walk Through Viewing, 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m., Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at H. H. Roberts, 38 S. Gettysburg Ave. Private Funeral Services. Interment, Jeffersonview Cemetery.
