Edward MURRAY Obituary
"Eddie"
77, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020, in his home. Eddie was born on March 3, 1943, to Harry and
Anna Murray in Blairsville, PA, their only child. He graduated from Springfield High School in 1961. Eddie married his high school sweetheart, Linda (Roach) Murray on April 4, 1964. They spent 56 years of marriage together. Eddie retired from IH in 1993 after 30 years of service and will be remembered by his co-workers as "fast Eddie." After retirement, Eddie enjoyed traveling with his wife and family and their many trips to Florida, when he was still able. He enjoyed attending his grandsons sporting events, he had a passion for food and always knew where to find the best steak. Eddie never missed the chance to tell a joke and make us laugh with his crazy sense of humor. Eddie is survived by his wife, Linda (Roach) Murray; son, Jeffrey
Murray of Springfield, OH; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Marvin Vaughan of St. Thomas, USVI and his grandson, Joseph Quisenberry of Springfield, OH. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 pm in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held one hour prior, starting at 12:00 pm. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Due to COVID-19, masks will be
required and social distancing will be enforced. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
