Dan and I worked together at Trimble. He was a good guy and I appreciate his helpful nature. He was a great source of info, especially about biking and Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Rest In Peace and I hope his family and friends can find comfort in their memories of Dan.

What a truly good spirit existed in Dan! I'm truly sorry and saddened by the sudden loss of Dan, and the world just seems a little less...everything. My blessings go out to the family. Was one of a very few that went to St. A's with Dan and was blessed that he was a part of my life. His thoughts and memories always bring a smile to my heart and always will.

I have known Dan for many years and am deeply saddened by his loss. His friendly and outgoing spirit spoke volumes to who he was. The love he had for his wife and boys was evident as he always talked about them. I loved our trips together and times spent talking. Rest in Pease dear friend.

While no words seem sufficient to describe the loss we all must be feeling, I will offer that all of our lives have been improved for having known Dan. He was consistently a thoughtful friend, trusted colleague and he had the magical charisma to brighten your day, no matter what your mood may have been at the time. He has no doubt left a very positive mark on us all and will be cherished in our memories. Dan's invitation to join him on a ride got me into cycling many years ago...he was the inspiration that got me started, and I will always be grateful. My heart felt prayers and best wishes go out to his family.

Hi Melissa, Henry & Luke,
We are really sorry to hear that Dan passed away unexpectedly, it really took us quite a while to admit this is true, even though it is still very hard to accept it.
Dan is a truly respected person! We have known him because of work for more than 10 years, and he has become one of our best friend. He is a very passionate guy and very professional, he made us to be better version of ourselves and be more precise, we have learned a lot from him. Dan is a warm person, we are from different countries with different cultural backgrounds, while he made the business not be cold but with warm temperature.
I still remember very clearly the image Dan showed me his big puppy and the new Trimble facility in front of the computer about two weeks ago, and the bright and clear voice “Trimble Dan” when he picked up my call every time!
Dan often shared your lovely family story with us, we can well feel his deep love to all of you!
We will miss Dan forever, and god bless all of you!
Best regards,
Sophie (on behalf the team of PML)

I have know Dan “Big Dan” “Heavy D” and “my friend” for 30 plus years. He was my best man at my wedding. We hung out, drank, threw darts, road bikes- dirt and street, ate chicken wings till we almost puked, partied like rock stars, watched our kids grow, watched our families grow. He will be missed, but the memories will be here until I see him again
Love you brother

We are incredibly saddened to hear the unexpected news of Dan's passing. We worked with Dan for over 30 years and during that time we came to know him as a friend, and not just one of our customers. I had an especially memorable relationship with Dan as we often took time to discuss our personal lives, which meant so much more to each of us than "business". I will truly miss his spirit, his laughter and his warmth. Eric Treiber (on behalf of the team at Chicago White Metal Casting)

Missy & Family,
Our hearts were sadden & shocked to hear of the passing of Dan. Dan has been a part of our family for many years. Occasionally life changes, put us on different paths, but always found our way back. That was real friendship. Dave & I were just talking about him the other day. He was full of life & had a great sense of humor, loved to make you laugh. He will be missed. Our prayers are with you & your family

I've known Dan since the school days but I don't remember what year it was! We lost touch over the years until just recently. He came over to my house and it seemed like we had only seen each other yesterday! No matter if it's been a day or 25 years since you had seen him Dan was always Dan period. I enjoyed talking to him, reminiscing of days past about drag racing or whatever it was! I know that Dan will be greatly missed by everyone that had met him! I know that I will miss him dearly! Melissa if there's anything that we can do please feel free to tell me. GOD be with you and your family during these difficult times, your friend Bobby Miller
