Milward BEASLEY Obituary

BEASLEY, Jr., Milward "Milt Papo"

Born August, 1930 in Versailles, KY. He was a former resident of Sycamore Glen Retirement Center in Miamisburg, OH, and currently resided in Maineville, OH. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Milward and Ada Beasley,

sister, Christine McCauley, brother, Thomas Beasley. He married Bonny Jo Osborne Beasley on June 1, 1956. Milward served our country in the Korean War as a Radio/Teletype Operator in the U.S. Air Force, and graduated with an MBA in Education from Eastern

Kentucky University, Richmond, KY. He loved every one of his many careers: Fifth Grade Teacher, Elementary School Principal, Charter Bus Driver, Santa and Member/Deacon/Trustee of First Baptist Church, Franklin, OH. After retiring from Education in 1985, Milt started a new adventure working with Whitworth Bus Sales and Buckeye Charters as a Charter Bus Driver. Milt was also a member of "SantaforHire.com" which is a nationwide booking agency for natural bearded Santas. He had his picture and SANTA license plate on his motor coach. Milt and Bonny organized and planned many trips across the country for their church and senior friends. From day trips to month long trip journeys, they traveled throughout the United States and Canada visiting many National Parks and Monuments. The biggest adventure was to Alaska and the Canadian Rockies. What a great life. He loved Bonny his precious loving wife and all his family. He was the kind of person who reached out to everybody, a real "cheerer upper". Milt is looking forward to many reunions in HEAVEN with family and friends who are already there. Milward is survived by his wife, Bonny Jo Beasley of 64 years; sons, Kevin (Vickey) Beasley, Maineville, OH, Kyle (Mary) Beasley, Longview, WA; six grandchildren, Kyla (Jeremy) Crigler, Kari (Jason) Crigler, Krista (Justin) Taylor, Kaci (Sean) Westerkamm, Deacon and Ada Beasley; sister, Carolyn Raider of Stuart, FL; step-grandchildren, Brooke (Jordan) Leo, Karleigh and Halle

Conner; and twelve great-grandchildren. Also survived by many special cousins, nieces, nephews, and sweet hugging friends and especially his Yorkie, best friend and buddy, Maizi, always by his side! Our Spiritual Leader, Rock, Compassionate, Loving, Care Giver, Advisor, Adventurous, Fun, Santa…Papo… He will be dearly missed. Funeral Services are 12 pm Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, OH, with Rev. Marvin Strom officiating. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 am to 12 pm at the funeral home.
