Vallie Ruth
94 of Dayton departed this life December 21, 2020. Preceded in death by her husband
Sylvester; two sons, one who died shortly after childbirth and Larry (Carrie) Davis who cared for his mother until his death three years ago. The Homerville, GA, native spent much of her adult life in Dayton. She was an active member of Berean Missionary Baptist Church. Retired from The Ohio State University Extension. She loved cooking, baking and gardening. Her life will forever be cherished in the lives of her grandson, Anthony Davis (Crystal Blane); granddaughter Kinyatta Johnson (Rontaye); great-granddaughters Ronnae M. Johnson and Christian Davis; great-great-grandson, Phillip Hanson-Bass; brother, Rufus L. Sharpe; nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Private Services & Interment, Dayton
National Cemetery.
