JULIA SCEARCE Obituary
Julia M. Scearce, 97, of Middletown, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at Bickford Assisted Living. She was born in San Antonio, Texas, on May 6, 1923, to parents, Ben and Matilda (Bennack) Fleming. Julia was a graduate of St. Mary Catholic High School in San Antonio, Texas, and worked at Kelley Air Force Base in San Antonio prior to getting married. She was a member of Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church. Her Catholic religion, her daughters and her grandson were more treasured than anything else. She was devoted to her family and stressed the importance of education. Julia is survived by her daughters, Kathryn L. (Glenn) Hicks, Claudia M. (Al) Guler and Patricia A. (Richard) Montgomery; grandson, Stephen (Amy) Montgomery; sister, Marian Hall; special nephew, Kenny Scearce; and many other loving family, friends and her Yorkie grand-dogs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude W. Scearce; parents; and brothers, George Fleming & Ben Fleming, Jr. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial at Springboro Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Middletown, 4418 Lewis St,, Suite B, Middletown, OH 45044 - OR - Holy Family Parish, 201 Clark St., Middletown OH 45042.
