I have fond memories of Mrs. Simms as a daily lunchmate with my mother, Agnes Schmidt, and another resident, Caroline, at The Grand of Dublin. They were residents together in the Memory unit, and I would always greet them as “those Springfield Girls” when they were together. Also, the three of them had connections to CCHS and it would make them smile each time I would bring it up when I visited my Mom. Mrs. Simms was always so sweet and we are sorry we didn’t get to visit with her these past several months. My prayers are with her family.
