HAMMOND, Janice Claire

85 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away January 4, 2021. Born on January 21, 1935, to the late Harry and Mary Wombold.

Also preceded in death by her 3 sisters; 2 brothers; and son, Steven. Janice had a love of birds, animals and flowers and a strong faith. She was a

loving, devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her

husband, Donald; daughters, Connie Smith, Karen (Dan) Teaford, Lisa (Vercie) Lark; sons, Michael (Donna) Hammond and Gregory Hammond; grandchildren, Alethea, Larry, Nathan, Justin, Chris, Robbie, Kyle, Coleton, Erika and Michael; and 9 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends Tuesday, January 12, 2021, from 12-1 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. The funeral services will be private. Burial Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The state of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order requiring mask be worn in all public places. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Janice's memory to The Hospice of Dayton.
