HECK, Kermit

March 12, 1940-January 8, 2021

Age 80, passed away on Jan. 8, 2021.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara, and two

children, Ed Heck (wife Sharon) and Marilin Oakley (husband Mark); two grandchildren, Josh Heck (wife Andrea) and

Stephanie Martinez (husband Kyle); and five great-grandchildren: Zavier, Cayman, Addyson, Carsen and Kenadie.

He was an avid woodworker and made his career with Globe Motors Inc. in Dayton. He spent 30 years there before retiring in 1996.

A private visitation will take place on Jan.15.

Baker Funeral Home in Valley Center is handling the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Kermit to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS. 67202.

We are very sorry to hear this sad news about Kermit. I remember Kermit from being at my grandparents, Jonas and Emma Heck, home in Lewisburg. I lived in Wilmington with my parents, Don and Mary Wells.
