I became acquainted with Tony through the Nextdoor forum. I was very impressed with his aspirations to better the Dayton community. He would have my vote if he did run for Mayor.

My condolescences to you and your family.

I remember sitting by him in Anatomy and Physiology. Always with a financial magazine in his hand. He was funny and intelligent and always fun to be around. I was really sorry to hear of his passing and I had already decided to campaign for his mayoral run. Rest in Peace old friend.

As some who grew up in the same neighborhood but in different decades I was excited to see him announce his run for mayor. I'm sorry for his loss and hope the family nothing but the best.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Tony's passing. He and I bonded over boxing and debating how best to alleviate crime and generally improve the city of Dayton. Tony was a very kind and generous soul who loved life and enjoyed sharing that love with others. He was always looking out for others. He advocated for people whose voices are too often ignored and silenced in the interest of expediting bureaucracy. I pray Tony is making clouds in heaven from an endless supply of God's cigars. I pray his family finds some comfort and joy in knowing his generous spirit will carry on in those who knew and loved him. Please hear my loud, obnoxious and heartfelt CHEERS! to you Champ.

I didn’t know Sherman real well in his adult life since we lived in different states, but my sister and I would occasionally babysit him when he was a little guy. Cute kid. Real blond with curls. But later in life Anytime I would visit the family and see him. He loved to joke and always had a smile on his face. Thinking of you both Aunt Donna and Uncle Jerry during this time. Love and prayers to you both and the family.
