HICKS, Jr., Berklet John

67, of Springfield, passed away January 26, 2021, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 13, 1953, in Springfield, the son of

Berklet John and Margaret

(Sigmon) Hicks Sr. Mr. Hicks was a member of the Masons, Eagles, Union Club, Machinist Club and he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was retired from Ohio Coin. Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Wilma (Smith) Hicks; children, Matthew (Leesa) Parker, Jarrad (Jamie) Parker, Joneca Hicks, Benjamin Hicks and Jonathan Hamah; grandchildren, Andrew, Mitchell, Michael, Brandon (Ariel), Tanner, Colton and Marshall; one great-grandchild, Xavier; one sister, Sue Hicks; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Hicks and his parents. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 7:00PM, Wednesday in the JONES- KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 7:00PM with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. Masks will be required. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com.
