I will always remember Doug as a kind soul with a good heart and a great story. The world was a richer place for his existence. His memory will be a blessing to all who knew him.

I've know Doug for over 25 years. Such a great man!! I worked with him on the DooDah parade for 25 of the 37 years he had been involved with it. I will really miss him!! And, I will miss his corny jokes that he was always telling. Love you buddy!!

Doug was such a wonderful and colorful character. I loved hanging out at the coin shop on Hight St. Saturdays were specially entertaining. Thanks to Doug for many fun things and friendships that developed at the coin shop. Last time I saw him, he was tending bar at Brewstirs on High St. He was serving drinks and dancing up and down behind the bar. You are loved and will be missed.

Doug was a good friend during my high school days. He scared me to death when we were returning Mary Ann Walker's parent's car from a Bishop Flaget HS car wash. He got that car up to 100 mph on Belview (probably a 30 MPH speed limit). I have been thinking about Doug these last years. God bless his soul.
