Finding this out has been heartbreaking. I was Mo's RA when he was a freshman and he was the coolest and nicest kid ever. He always engaged in conversations with me and lent me a really interesting book. Sadden to hear about his passing. Hope you're resting in peace.

From the exact second I met Mo, I knew he was going to become someone I cared deeply about. I remember walking up to him and him immediately asking me questions about myself and genuinely caring about my answers. His kind and caring heart was so visible to everyone that met him. For the last 5 years that Mo has been in my life, he has not only been someone that I could go to when I needed someone to talk to but someone who ALWAYS knew when I needed a laugh and never failed to provide one. From the inside jokes to the high school band memories we shared, Mo was always someone who made life more enjoyable. He knew that every time he yelled O-H- at me, I was sure to reply with I-O. Mo forever changed my life and for those who never got the pleasure of meeting him, I am forever sorry. Teagan and Mr. Pytel, I cannot tell you how sorry I am for your loss and I want you to know that you are in my prayers.

May the wind be always at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face;

the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,

may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Mo was a one-of-a-kind person. He never failed to brighten my day with his sense of humor and thoughtfulness. I feel so fortunate to have had him in my life these past 8 years. I'll forever cherish all of our memories and jokes. I know he's drinking a big glass of milk and listening to some jazz music right now. Sending lots of love and hugs to his family and friends, I love you Mo

I've never met anyone quite like Mo. He was genuine, kind, understanding, and passionate about everything he did. It didn't matter if he knew you or not, he would do anything for you if you needed it. I'll always remember him and be grateful to him for a number of things, from helping me find my confidence in freshman year to cheering me on when I got accepted to college, but mostly for just being a friend.

I'm so sorry to hear about Mo's passing. He was such a polite and energetic young man. I got to know him through band and his sister who went to the school I taught at. Mo always had a smile and kind words. Our lives are lucky to have been touched by him but now sad that others will never know him. Rest In Peace Mo
