When I first met Bettie Ann, I was just a kid. I confess, I was sort of scared of her at first, but I soon learned that she had a big heart and it was full of love! I told her that she was the only person I knew that could give me a whipping because anybody else would have to catch me first! That’s because if she said I needed it, I would trust her to be right and take it like I should because I knew I had it coming and she wouldn’t do that if she didn’t love you. So right from the git-go I knew she loved us and I couldn’t help but to love her back from then on. She was a strong woman and always has my respect and love. God bless her soul and may she rest in peace.

Our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to you all. Bettie was one of a kind and I only won her over thru spinach dip and bread. That’s how I became a daughter from another mother! We love you all!
